AARP app, received the card before I was able to see it online

My DW got the AARP approved after they asked her to call for verification, one week later she received the card but it didn't show on her Chase online account.

Activated the card, tried to add it to her online account and got an error. Later that day the card appeared online. She was about to call for help to add the card to her online account.

Is this normal?

My card appeared on my account within minutes of approval. Same with my DH.

I setup an account after instant approval which showed everything.
