So...since I opened up my BCE card almost 6 months ago...I've been apping and getting a few new cards since then...now my score dropped from 705 to 680....should I wait for my Experian score to get back up to 700+ before I request my 180 day CLI...?? Anyone have the same situation when requesting the 180 day CLI..??
Cas...

Did you already do one at 90 days??
A) If you did, wait. Waiting is good and only increases your credit score and chances at a big CLI.
B) If not, do it now!

Oh I see your dilemna now. If you're happy with your current CL's I would wait a month or two more for your scores to regain momentum. Many here would push you to do it now as it doesn't hurt, and it doesn't...unless you're denied or are happy with getting approved for less.
I guess I'm a bit confused. I'm seeing posts about 90 days and 180 days CLI. I got my Delta Gold on July 1. Can I request CLI at 61 days? Or do I have to wait for 90?

It will be 61st day. But remember, that rule does not apply any more...

What is the current limit on the card and what was it raised to? How many new accounts did you open?. One trick you can use to find out to see if they will approve your CLI is to check your spending ability on the card. Put in the amount you want your new card limit to be to see if they will allow you to spend that much on the card.
If it comes back and says you are approved to spend that much (Via checking spending ability), ask for a CLI right away to the amount.

I've never seen that before. I Thought thats just something for the charge account users. I thought a credit limit is a credit limit with amex? Very good to know I will poke at it when I hit my 181
You can check spending limit for both Charge cards and Revolvers with Amex.
