  I have just over 100k of available credit. 1% utilization and that is with the BCP.  The reporting balance is about $1000. Lowes is at $25k. Freedom is at $22.5k. Experian true FICO is 772. So I'm at $16500 with Amex and asked for $24000 yesterday. They gave me the 7-10 day. I just got off the phone with a rep and asked if there were any questions they might have had for me because I still have the option of asking for another increase. She told me they will be sending me a confidential letter in the mail soon. Is this the FR rectal exam?

It's probably a denial.  If it was FR they'd suspend your ability to charge new purchases.

Ok. But the website and phone menu is allowing me to make another request. Is that normal?

I think the requests just stay on there.  At least I see them on my cards even after I get an auto CL.
