Should I apply? I know I'm supposed to be gardening, but the last baddie on TU is gone. Now all that's left is Just a paid judgment from 2011. Thing is though, since I've been rebuilding, my oldest account is six months old. Do I dare apply? Scores are in my sig

Yup just got it a couple of days ago, the day after the last derog came off of TU. Started 3-bureau credit monitoring with MYFICO the next day.

I think you stand a decent chance. Also there is a 24x7 recon line in the backdoors if declined.

For a data point, I app'd (March 15) for the Barclay Rewards with a 605 TU, one medical collections, and one CO loan. My oldest revolving account was Nov 2014. They denied me but approved me on a recon for a "starter limit." So I think you have an EXCELLENT chance - if not immediate, definite on recon. They were very friendly.

Ok, well I'm definitely thinking about it. It's just that I have 6 months of history, my oldest at 6, my newest at 3. Still think that I have a good shot? I'm looking for an in with Barclaycard, so that later on down the road, Sallie Mae will be within my sights haha

Like I mentioned, my oldest account was only 5 months old when I received my recon approval. And you look to be in much better shape than I was in. Good luck!

Thanks, my TU is higher than the other two, because I have a chargeoff reported to those two, and the last baddie that fell off TU, has not been removed by EX or EQ yet. I might apply. So hopefully if I do, I'll be posting in the approvals section haha
