AMEX 3x CLI should I jump the gun??!!

I was approved for the AMEX everyday back on May 19th.. I need to make a large purchase but I need to do it in the next day or two. I am on my 55th day but I'm wondering if it's safe to request CLI? If I'm denied will I have to wait an additional 90 days to request again?

Do it. I didn't it at activation and was approved.if denied yea 90 days to wait

Yes, do it. Most on here are saying you can get a CLI upo activation.

Just jumped the gun and got a 7 to 10 day message😣 should I call in and speak to CRS? Could they give me answer? Or just wait it out?

OOPS. You posted while I was posting. Amex doesn't do recons on CLI's, so it wouldn't do any good to call.

My 7-10 day was a denial.  Said I have to wait another 90 days to try again.    Also said they're getting stricter on that 61 day window right now.  Looks to me like they're going back to their old ways.

i got my second denial today from them lol they don't like me. it's all good i won't be using that card much anymore lol.

I'm using mine for little purchases now.  Changing it up.  Don't know what they want.
