AMEX BCE

So I posted a couple weeks ago asking for some input on whether I should wait to apply or not (I didnt have my true EX score at that time). Well I just paid to get my score and report since I was curious and heres what it says:

729 Score

ult = 1%

AAoA = 1.2 years

13 Inquiries

0 Negatives

$9,988 Balance on auto loan (Opened October 1st at $10,116)

I'm just worried that I'll get denied for 1. having 13 inquiries and/or 2. since my installment loan has a high balance. Should I wait a couple months to get my installment loan balance down a little or should I just go for it?

(BTW this card is a WANT not a NEED. I'm just anxious lol)

Edit: My last inquiry was on 10/27/14 for my Freedom card

If it was me, I'd just go for it. The balance on your auto loan isn't going to affect your approval chances at all.  The inquiries are high but of all the banks, AMEX seems more willing to overlook them.  Let us know what happens and good luck.

Re: AMEX BCE

From what I understand, Amex is not inquiry sensitive. Your score and your util will certainly look attractive to them. Light on the AAoA, but many have gotten one of their cards with similar.

You should have been offered the option to create an online account. If you do that, you'll be able to see your CL.
