I also just started with Amex recently in April. The Amex SPG SL was 10k but it was also my first high limit credit card. At 10k I thought I wouldn't get a cli, but about a month ago I started seeing the "increase credit limit" option on the home page, and this morning I requested a cli of 5k and was instantly approved.
Option came up after the 90 days like other posters mentioned. I'd also like to point out Amex is an excellent company that will grow with you. Aside from my 748 FICO I still have a Capital One card that is still $300 and a 25.99% APR
Same experience here. I posted in another thread the other day that I was denied a CLI but few hours later approved for the Hilton Surpass card (low SL $1000). I'm just glad after the past year though that I was finally in with the Amex family. That's been the one I've been trying to get in with since my whole rebuilding process.

Hang in there. I opened up my BCE a little bit less than two years ago and my starting limit was only $2k. As of today it is at $30k . You will get there in no time.

Hi Total
Were you able to decrease the UT on your Disco and PenFed substantially before re-requesting the CLI? Hopefully you did.
GL to you.
How can it be over 91 days if you started this thread on 8/24/17? It's 91 days from the day of the denial, not account opening.

Edit: Sorry meant this to be in the 3x CLI thread...
