Yes, the NFCU is roughly akin to the Macy's card in that neither are co-branded (per my understanding of the term); the only co-branded AMEX cards can be found on the AMEX website.
@Horseshoez Ah, ok that is what was said upthread just worded a bit differently and then I overanalyized it and confused myself. Thanks, I get it now.

UPDATE: Confirmed AMEX applied the payment and I have a $0 balance. When should I pull the trigger to re-apply.
I am probably in the minority, but I'd give it four to six weeks to let the dust to settle.

Posted in my thread but reposting here that I defaulted on my card in 2009 or so and paid back 11k. Waited 5 weeks to reapply and was approved. Not a bankruptcy though.
***UPDATE***
I had my mom add me as an AU and provided my SSN and got approved. Applied for the platinum card the next day.....APPROVED $10k!! I'm back!
Again, this was after I paid a $863 account that was IIB in Dec. 2018!

I don't get it! It feels so weird booking Delta flights with my United Visa...speaking of loyalties. ![]()
Like yourself, I also paid back a chargeoff included in my Ch 7. Even my bankruptcy lawyer said I shouldn't have any trouble with them!
