I have applied for a few cards since my last SP approval which was in late April. Each time, unlike before, it says "requires more info" when checking status. I then always receive a letter stating it was too soon after being approved for the last card. That approval was for a Business Cash card.
Since this is all SP's I figured why not try. The first attempt was for a personal card, the next two for business. Is there a "rule" of how many cards can be approved in X period of time?
Last two approvals:
BBP - 4-6-21
BBC - 5-5-21
Yeah, I know I am pushing it but the no HP deal allows me to. ![]()

You are hitting the 2/90 rule with AMEX which is basically where you can only be approved for two revolvers in a 90 day period. That is why you are getting denials

I see. So under that "rule", I would be cleared of that hurdle 91 days from the first of those two approvals? That would be July 6th apparently. Not that I shouldn't wait a bit longer of course.

Correct, it is a 90 day rolling period but as you suggested waiting a little bit longer doesn't hurt
Thank you. My EX report could clean up at any time also so I have that going for me.
