AMEX Executive Review?

Applied for the Delta Gold and it has been in Progress for 2 days. Called in and they told me the app looks perfect but executive analysts or something are reviewing it.

Not it sure what this means?

Anyone have this experience?

Im sure it's a strange denial since Amex and Discover hate my life lol.

this is the first i heard of!Btw,may i ask all your 5 Chase cards open within 2-3 years?I want to app for another Chase card,side note i just got approve for Chase BA in 01/20

Slate in Sept, then Marriott and SW in Jan, CSP last month and Amazon yesterday lol

Ritz and IHG. I will tell them to open my IHG and transfer UE's limit to it,and then closed the card. And new Ritz,hoping for 2 cards 1HP
