AMEX Platinum Approval??

I just got the SUB bonus pre approval email that I have been waiting for to apply for the AMEX Platinum and after applying this was the message i received. What are the chances that I am actually getting approved for it if anyone else has received this message before?

Any time I've received that message it meant that I was denied. Could be diff for you, though.

This could go either way but, could simply mean they need more information to complete a review such as POI, Military Status, I.D. verification, etc... You could reach out to them to see if they need any more information from you that would help complete the process.

yeah this is the first time ive gotten this and not a straight rejection right away, so curious to see if it will get approved

okay so would you recommend calling the "check application status" number and ask them that?

okay, just called and they said my application is in underwriting and if they need any additional information they will send me an email or letter in the mail in 5-7 business days so guess we will wait and see

ended up getting the approval email this morning, they didn't ask for anything additional information either. Pretty hyped about it.

Glad it worked out for you, congratulations on your Amex approval. You should start a new post in the approvals board with any more DPs you can provide.
