Don't consider the Kohl's card subject to the same rules as other cap 1 cards. In sep/oct 2020 I got a kohls card 300 sl . I used the card for purchases at their online store and requested a cli every 6 months.
My history with the card,
300 sl sepoct 2020
300 - 700, 400 cli 6/11/21
700 - 1500, 800 cli 11/14/21
1500 - 2500, 1000 cli 6/22/22
2500 - 3000, 500 cli to max limit at the time, I didn't write down date.
3000 - 7000, 4000 cli and pc to Visa automatically by them 6/26/23
You have to request cli's or you cl will stay the same. I had luck by using the card to buy their products.
All this took place with me having scores in the 600's, low income, and a BK7 from 2019 on my reports, ymmv.
