AMEX Pre-qualified

Hey guys, quick question as I am a bit confused.

I have an AMEX Optima card (which I've had since 2018) - I used to have a BCE back in 2013 but was charged-off due to me falling behind on payments.  So I paid the balance and they offered the Optima card which I accepted.  My question is, when I click on "check for pre-qualified card offers" on the AMEX site, it comes up with 18 different cards.  Am I missing something here, or am I not pre-qualified for anything?

To see which cards you are preapproved for, you have to click on the apply link. If you are preapproved it will say "Congratulations, slk08z06, you are preapporved!" If you are not preapproved, it will say "Applying to expand your membership with us is easy, slk08z06." You have to select each card you're interested in and hit apply one by one to check.

@slk08z06 What @Ficoproblems247 is saying here is dead on. However keep in mind I have seen DPs showing people getting the preapproved verbiage mentioned here and still get denied. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses....I checked and just like yall said, I received the "Applying to expand your membership with us is easy, slk08z06".

I might apply anyways though, interested in the gold and platinum.
