AMEX Prequalify Tool....No AMEX Gold?

After reading about all of the CLD's AMEX is offering right now I decided to see what they had up there for me up there on the prequalify tool

AMEX Platinum (100k MR offer)

AMEX Green (45k MR offer)

However I didn't see the AMEX Gold offer listed or any of the Every Day. Could it be that AMEX doesn't want to encourage big grocery spend on its cards for right now? Keep the offers open for cards that are completely useless at the moment (including Hilton and Delta)?

What is the strategy here?

If it's just not listed, it doesn't mean you aren't pre-qualified, it just isn't the cards they're pushing towards you. You need to actually click on the gold to see if you're pre-approved. If it's missing from the list, they don't want you to apply and it'll show up again in a few months.

I guess its the same difference then, hiding cards to disuade me from applying.
