Curious arent you the one that applied for 3 amex's within 5 days? Also yes denial is 90 days from denial before you can request again..

Yep, 90 days, except there is no longer any such thing as too soon.
i read somewhere on the forums that the 61 day rule no longer applies...BUT if it is your first AMEX account you still have to wait 61 days.
If that is the case, for the few of us that just opened our first amex and immediatly asked for luv before 61 days, I'm assuming we will have to only wait the 61 days from acct open.
I will try on the 61st day and let everyone know for sure.(6/22/15)
The 61 days 'rule' applied to first Amex account, that rule is no longer in effect. Yes, I was able to increase my limit before the 61 days (when the rule still was in effect) because I had Amex PRG for almost 3 months before I got the ED. Now people with first card with Amex are getting CLI at activation others denials.
The only 'rules' now are: One request at a) 180 days from last CLI approval and b) 90 days from last CLI denial, per client, so choose the card you want if you have several Amex.

Yes, OP got 3 Amex cards few days apart. I think OP needs gardening lessons

Sorry to hear that OP. Amex will eventually come around as your profile improves. When I got my first 3x CLI in 2013, I had to wait for 18 months before I could get another cli with Amex because of all the new accounts I opened. I've gotten a cli at 61 days then waited 18 months (after denials every 90 days) before I got a second cli. Back then, I was bummed about it because I was top heavy with Amex. As I diversified my profile with Visa, Discover and Mastercard, it wasn't/isn't an issue anymore. If Amex gives me a cli fine, if not fine. Try again at a later date as your profile improves and I'm sure you'll be fine.
Conventional wisdom is that a $1k approval from Amex means they barely approved you OR they want to see your spending and paying habits before giving you a bigger playground. Use the card. Pay the card. Rinse, repeat for a while, and then try your luck again down the road.
I'll reiterate here what I said to you last week: it's all about building a relationship, not prolonging the first date.
I have never gotten a 3x increase from them and I have been with them for a year and a half or so. I have gotten a new card and credit limit increases with them, just never 3x. In fact the last increase I got was on them. They sent me a letter telling me I was eligible for an increase and to call if I wanted it. The increase was only $1500, but hey.. Yeah, of course I took it! I am probably a few years off of qualifying for a 3x increase with them. I have way too much credit anyway. I just broke the 100K mark! I don't even need half that, but I do hover around 10% usage. I think I need to cut out about 20K of useless cards to keep the others happy.

i got the card 03/13/15 and apped for 3x on 05/05/15 and got the denial letter stating my account is too new. i can do it on 05/15/15 right? or is it 90 days from 05/05/15? i thought that if you were denied due to the account being too new then the 90 day rule didn't apply?
From what I read you should wait 90 days from 05/05, but you can try on 05/15 just in case, that will not reset the clock.
Good luck

You will need to wait the 90 days. The 61 day 'rule' does not apply any longer so when they listed the denial reason as too new that just means that they want to see more use of the card before granting a CLI. It has nothing to do with the 5/15 date.
just ended chat with amex
60 days if approved
90 days if declined
