AMEX initial 3 X CLI declined, now what?

Just got my first Amex card, it was the everyday card. Soon as I recieved the card I asked 3x and got it. I went from 3.5k to 10k. But what I beleive is true when you start out low cl you barely made so so you are more of a risk so maybe wait. I just dont now how to wait.

^ lmao. yeah mine was $2k limit (which is low) so i am a risk lol. also idk why they even approved me honestly. had only a 650 at the time (about 671 now) and 2 accounts reporting 60 days late in 2013 and one account reporting 30 days late in october of 2014 lol. i applied in march of 2015..

My card was 2k and I got the 3x after 2 weeks with it. My DW was 3.5k and got denied after 1 week. Also my APR was 8% higher than hers.

I love these threads. People are asking all the questions that I am thinking. I don't have my BCE yet (hopefully it will be in the mail box tomorrow). 2k starting limit. Should I try for the 3x CLI on activation or wait?
