AMEX sub recon after approval?

Has anyone ever got the pop up on a card they have never had before applied then afterwards reconned successfully for the SUB and got it?

amex is wholly inflexible on SUBs, you get what you get with no exceptions

no CSR or supervisor, manager, CEO's office can change it

if you accepted an offer after being told no SUB, they mean it, no SUB
