Hmm ... try again after being denied in the spring?
I applied in April, when I was something like 12/12. The denial mentioned number of accounts in the past year. I am now 4/12 in terms of cards or 5/12 including a loan. But I'm still 17/24 with cards or 21/24 including loans. I don't know if they only mentioned accounts opened in the past year because that is as far back as my credit history went at the time, in which case there might be no difference if I apply again, or if they only focus on the past 12 months, in which case I might be in significantly better shape to apply now.

Haha yeah I have known about this offer for a bit now but didn't say anything to try to stem another rush for their card. I feel so sorry for those managers lol

I guess I was a week late in getting the bonus but I am happy with the results in getting the card. I do find it interesting that they are pushing the card so much, maybe they are really digging the growth they may be seeing from so many new accounts.
