I applied yesterday evening by phone. Rep says they are thinking about it. Got email 2 hrs later and it says in progress. I will be notified once decision has been made. The website even says in progress. The last 2x I applied it was immediate denial. Are they really thinking about it now or what? Has anyone else seen them take this long. I already have the BCE with them. Account is 1 month old on May 2nd with a 500 limit.

Imo 650 EX is borderline; which explains your $500 limit on BCE. Not being mean...just a fact.

Yes, they are really thinking about it. But it's hard to say if approval is likely. It really comes down to what's in your file.

I was just approved for the delta gold with a 619 exp but my uti is super low and I don't have another amex. I was approved for $1k that I plan to grow to $3k on day 31!

Congrats on that approval -- what's holding your score back to 619?

Hope they do something. I was approved for the BCE at 639 EX a month ago. Hope the 652 brings me something else.
