Hello all!
The other day I posted my first post in regards to how I should reevaluate my whole credit situation and I found out that I could apply for Aerospace FCU and get their coveted Credit Card.
I just applied for the Checking and Savings since this was a requirement and then after the application for those, they instantly prequalified me for both of their cards. The Cash Back card was offered at $15k @ 5.9 APR and the Rewards Card was offered @ $20k limit at 10.9 APR. I went for the Cash Back and asked for $20k instead and it's pending approval! They should call me tomorrow to discuss the final details!
Looks like I am well on my way to getting this fantastic card with a stellar starting limit!
Hoping for some good news tomorrow!
The cash back reward on this card is very nice. Hope you receive good news tomorrow.

Indeed! I knew they existed when I starting contracting with Aerospace but never thought they had such a great card hidden under their belt. It was right in front of me this whole time!
I, too, have looked into this card as I'm eligible. But, with no concrete DP's on their approval practices, I choose to move on for now.
Congrats! I don't think they could withstand a myFICO tidal wave anyway, lol!
Oh wow, I've not seen this card before. Those are some nice rewards!! Best of luck!

Best I could provide for you is that my last two cards were opened about 8 months but they were SP's from AMEX since I have been with them for about five years now.
Just closed on a house two months ago and such as well. No delinquencies, no BK's or anything, don't ever carry balances, credit age is about 8 years. Not sure what else I could provide to help further?
I guess having such tight membership restrictions allow them to offer this card and make it extremely attractive. You would think a yearly fee would be attached to this thing but it's all free with no FTF's to boot!

Thank you for those DP's. Could you possibly answer the below questions?
Seems they're a bit generous, but that could also be income-driven (I'm aware aerospace compensates their employees well )
Thanks again!

- Which Credit Report and FICO version do they pull?
- Do they request POI?

Sure thing!
I can go ahead and report my findings once they get back to me. I tried calling in to speed up the process but they were adamant about servicing requests from a queue to first-come-first-serve. So I may know by today or tomorrow I suppose.
Also, I got a $30k limit at Apple FCU CC (my current highest) when I applied for a car loan in March of last year. My income $70k back then. Perhaps it's because I have been banking with them for five years now and have had two installments loans that have were in good standing by the time they were closed. Currently, I am at $90k now so, I think creditors get the gist that I'm dependable at this point? Who knows!
Congrats! I'm glad you were able to snag that one! $15K would probably be fine but $20K will just be icing on the cake!
