Alaska Airlines Recon?

has anyone had any luck with bank of America  recon for alaska airlines card?

applied got the 7-10, called the recon number, they're closed. Got the app status number and automated number says declined.

i have a lot of new credit but not with boa. Applied with them about 4 months ago and was declined.

Absolutely recon when they're open. They will most likely ask why you're seeking all the new credit and why you want this card. Do you have any negs on your reports?

Old paid collections, all accounts in good standing, a lot of new credit though. I will recon tomorrow and see where I get with it.

Agree with B335is. I did not recon a denial for the card, but did recon mine and DW's initial limit so we can get siggy version. Was after the annual companion fare award that comes with the siggy. Both reps i spoke with were really nice and friendly. I told them that with a family of 4 the companion fare would be nice when we take our vacation each year. Not sure if that was the tipping point, but both got initial limit increase for the siggy version. Of course it was another HP. BofA is HP happy so be prepared for another pull on recon.

LOL im actually not sure if a lockdown works on them. Dont know if they'll ask for the magic key. When I apped for the card a year ago...it was part of my major app binge at the time...so i was passed the worrying about inquiries.

Gotcha. Yeah, they seem very HP happy though..At least they pull TU on the second try.

I'd be willing to give up a card or two that I got because of the limit, ie marriott card for that card!!
