Today in the mail, I received a "pre-approved" offer from Capital one for their Platinum card. It says credit line up to $1500. I also received an email from Alaska Airlines that was "invitation only" lol. Should I even bother applying for any of these?
Current apps this year:
NFCU Cash Rewards in October for $2900.
NFCU CLOC for in October for $15,000.
Capital One Quicksilver One for $300 around November of this year
I applied for the Chase Amazon card but was denied.
TIA

The BoA letter sounds like marketing. As far as Cap1, try using their prequal site and see if anything pops up. Cap1 prequals are usually solid Good luck

I went to the cap one site and said I was pre qualified for the same. Should I go for it or just wait?
Go for it. If Cap One pre-qualifies you for a particular card it is usually spot on. I would apply for it. Good luck!!
I wouldn't apply, there are way better cards out there and the Platinum card has no rewards and super high APR. Even if you get it converted down the road the NFCU cash card you have gives the same benefits with no AF.

I was just about to ask. I didn't want to risk a HP cause i'm hoping for a CLI come this January which would be my 3rd month with NFCU.

+1 Totally agree with this.
Wait till you get a CLI with Navy and have SL above $5k. Then reapply with Chase, but I would reccomend the CSP instead of the Amazon.com card. If you do alot of shopping on Amazon there is a card that offers 5% cash back and does soft pull increases. I highly recommend the Amazon Store Card.

Sounds great. I'll be waiting till second week of January to do this.
Thanks everyone!
