Alliant Visa signature

Talk about an intense application process.
Applied week half ago for the Alliant Visa signature. First they requested copy of license and address verification , sent that. Then they wanted copy of SS, verification of employment letter and 2 pay stubs ok no prob Sent that last week. Called Monday find out an update , person said by later afternoon I should hear an answer. Now Wednesday came around , never heard anything so sent a message threw their website. Got a response back saying they can’t verify my income and that I need to sign a 5406T and send it back. Sent 2 pay stubs, never heard that before when applying for a CC , that can’t verify income. I was approved for capital one venture one 3 months ago , sent them 2 pay stubs didn’t have an issue. Talk about an intense process. Has anyone else ever had to submit a 5406T to Alliant ? does anyone know , once send back signed form to them, how long it usually takes for them to get back the tax return transcript.

Re: Alliant Visa signature

If there's an income variance or a disconnect from the information that was provided, then this is not out of the norm for Alliant, especially for their VS product.

I didn't have to provide POI, yet I've seen various reports where they can request the 4506-T transcript. Turn around time will vary, but it can generally take up to 2-3 weeks.

Re: Alliant Visa signature

Yeah, it's weird because my business partner (same income as me) had to go through the same, while for me they didn't even require income documentation.  It did feel a bit like feeling out a mortgage application.
