Just submitted my app, got a pending further review message. 14 days? Something tells me I should have waited, which more than likely means I'll be approved, if that makes sense. Lol.

Think you will get an approval tonight or in the morning..  Typically if Amex denies you they make it swift and to the point

This is very, very common with amex.

Go to americanexpress.com/applicationstatus

Chances are it is already approved. I have seen numerous times the approval go through immediately after.

Status check says in progress, check within 24 hrs. I think it has a good chance, they'll need to replace my Costco card anyway.

Called backdoor number, the guy said it had been declined. Not extremely upset at this decision at all. Lol.

I'd keep checking that status page until it actually changes from "in process" to approved / declined. Mine took exactly 7 day's to show approved and they pulled my EX a second time at one week.

Right after the call I checked the status and they had updated to decline. I should have waited it out, lol. No biggie, just means I can't take a hit to AAoA or suffer another EX HP.
