Amazing Rewards Visa unable instant approval?

Guys,

Took the plunge for the Amazon Visa Rewards today as i had to place a $300 order and they offered me $50 amazon card upon approval. Well i didnt think i'd have issues with me credit score and credit profile of getting instantly approved, i didn't. It says it needs futher review and that i will here something withing the next 30days.

Kinda disapointing, has anyone else got that message when applying?

Yes, mine took 2 weeks and got the $80 gift card loaded when it was approved.

very common with chase. the best option is to call this number, 800-432-3117. Once you hear the lady say, welcome to chase card services, hit #, then 3, then 1. After that enter your social. 

You want to hear something like we will get back to you within 2 weeks. OR even 30 days. 

If it says 7 to 10 days, usually a denial.

I got that same message and received my card about two weeks later. I have seen similar comments as well. No instant approval does not always mean denial.

Do as DDemari says. It is "the way" to go when you get Chase pending.

Also, I got the same message, but my approval came through a few hours later the same evening. My Chase BA card took 2-3 days (I think).

Apped it on 1/20 got 30 day message, call that number couple days later, it says "You will receive our decision in writing in about 2 weeks", been calling every couple days since with same message. Finally got a e-mail from Amazon on moriniing of Feb, 4th saying I was approved. So the wait could be bit long.

Thankfully they approved me today for $5000! Happy Boy
