Amazon Prime Pre-Qualification link issues

I've been trying for several months and get the same thing but I only leave my Experian and Trans unlocked for a few minutes at a time. I don't like leaving my credit file unlocked for any length of time if possible because of lots of data breaches and I don't want unsolicited mail coming in to sign up for a credit card.

I've got zero late payments on 2 AE cards, one Chase CC & Auto loan, one Capital One card (which I should just cancel it, really), and got a 699 Fico score only because of the high credit usage. If I had 0 credit usage, I would have 803 Fico according to Experian credit simulator.

Re: Amazon Prime Pre-Qualification link issues

Welcome @BuddySteve

You can do it for a day. When I applied for a WF card. Took a day for them to pull my file. You might be cutting them off. Simulators are not accurate. Get your util down before you apply. It may mean a higher SL and lower int rate.

I disagree about the credit simulator! I've been using it for years and it seems to be pretty onpar with me! Of course, no tool is perfect but it's accurate enough for me in my experience with it.

OP,

Was wondering if you retried the Chase Amazon but having your reports thawed for at least one or two whole days?

Their prequal tool only works for me if I leave reports thawed for a few days.
