Amazon Prime Visa Signiture CLI question

Hi,

I filed for Ch 7 BK in 2007 and it  has fallen off from my credit reports in 2017.  

Chase was inluded in my BK for ~ @2000, so this may explain the tiny initial CL.

I have had an Amazon Prime Signiture Visa since late 2017.

During this time, I have never been late.  Always paid on time, though not always in full.

I have not received a CL on my card since and its still on $500 CL.  I applied online 2 times, once in 2018 and 2019, but denied both times.

Currently my overall credit util is high @Anonymous %, FICO 8 Ex 690 EQ~ 670 TU ~ 670. 

Over last couple months, I received a Venmo Signiture card @ 6k CL, Cap 1 Walmart @ 2k, Paypal MC @ 2400.

TIA for any feedback on getting a CL on my Amazon card.

I think that the high utilization is a factor but unless you paid Chase back for the BK burn, that's the smoking gun. They have a long memory and no problem with holding such things against people for a very long time (as in a decade or two sometimes).

In addition to the above comments, getting out of the Chase $500 CL 'purgatory' will be a bit of a challenge, especially at the moment given you've recently added some new accounts/inquiries and the present utilization.

Do you recall the reason(s) why the CLI was declined both times in 2018/2019?

Main reason was for 90 + day late.

Also, a few other lates.

I have 2 x 30 day late and 1 60 day late from 2014 due to fall off.

Also, 2 x 30 day late from 2015 which I am trying to remove via Goodwill letter.

Those are my derogs on my credit reports right now.

I will hold off on asking for increase, don't want to use a hard inquiry.

If those lates were not on a Chase card and you get your usage down, I would think your odds will go up quite a bit once the derogs are gone. If those are Chase lates, they may hold those against you even after they're off your reports.

Thanks.  No, those lates are not from Chase.

Yes, I will wait to apply for cli maybe later this year then and drop my util < 30 %.
