Amazon Prime Visa pending after recon...

Called recon after I wasn't instantly approved and they had me verify a couple questions and then verify a text code to my phone. After the verification, they said it was under review in a different department and the status was stuck in pending, not being able to do anything else. Has anyone ran into this in the past with Chase?

Tons of people have experience with Chase cards pending verification. Personally, all mine have been instant approvals, but if you search the Credit Card Applications forum for "Chase pending verification" you'll see that it's probably good news. 

If you have an existing Chase account, log in and check to see if your card is there. It will show up there before you get any other notification.

I'm not sure about the Amazon card but I had a similar thing happen with my CSP card. For me I called in and it was a ID verification issue. Good luck.
