In late June I foolishly applied for an Amazon store card. I'd just begun rebuilding my credit and had promised myself I'd wait, but the application invite popped up when I was checking out and I couldn't resist. I was rejected, the reason given being that I had "little to no credit history". In the intervening months I've opened three credit cards with varying limits and kept them in good standing. One of the cards is actually as an authorized user, with a history that goes back years, so I feel that I'm in a good position to reapply... But what's the time limit for that? How long do I need to wait, and how long should I wait for the best shot? Thanks in advance for any advice!
P.S. This is for the store card, not the Visa they offer.

Wait until you generate a FICO score on TU and depending on what that is, I'd definitely go for a Sync Bank card then. I was able to get a lot of mine in April, so about 7 months of credit history of my own. I don't know how much being an AU on a card will have an effect here but you can always try when you feel like you're ready and have more history under your belt.
