Amazon Visa Signature (Chase) Pre-Approval Denied: 'Can’t Access Credit Report' Innovus? LexusNexus?

I intend to apply for an Amazon Visa Signature CC with $200 sign up bonus for prime members and the promo ends today. Elsewhere on the forum I was told that they'd use Experian for CRA. I lifted freezes on Experian and Transunion but not Equifax.

I didn’t realize it but they have a pre-approval and I just tried it and I was denied due to them not able to access my credit report.
So, I just went back and lifted the Equifax freeze. I’ll try the pre-approval again in an hour or so.

Recently I’ve been reading about secondary CRAs like LexisNexis, Factor Trust, Innovus, Clarity, Sage Stream. Some of these I’ve never even heard of. Is it possible that I did a freeze on Innovus or LexisNexis some years ago (these latter CRAs I’m slightly familiar with and have a vague recollection of requesting a freeze I think on Innovus years back???) …. unfirtunatley I have no record of requested freezes on these CRAs and no record of any accounts or passwords with them.

So: do I need to check if any of these other CRAs currently have an active freeze and if so remove them before applying for the Amazon VS?

FYI: I’ve not applied for a new CC in a decade. My FICO score is 800+/-. Oldest account 22 years. Low utilization, PIF each month.

Chase can pull a single CRA or any combination of the two. Do not apply without all three being off the ice. 

If you do apply with freeze in place, recon would involve another set of pulls, they won't go "oh, we got EQ, let's just do TU". 

I have no idea why you'd think they are exclusively pulling EX. While I've gotten 2 pulls for my first three Chase cards that involves EX, 4th one Amazon was TU. 

You don't need to worry about those other reporting agencies, Chase does their own thing.

@LegalTender this is a known issue with the Amazon prequalify - i had the issue for months before i finally got it to work and i never had any of my reports frozen

I see thanks for the clarification.

(Transunion freeze is now lifted so all three CRA are accessible).

So what's the solution: to ignore the pre-approval process and just fill out the application? Or does that typically result in denial?

@LegalTender t i got approved at 9/24 with a 683 EX and your way higher with a lot less new accounts so i would say you pretty much will get approved. I perosnally waited several months to get prequalified because I still have some old late payments and paid CO in my profile so i like to try to get pre approved before applying for anything if i can
