Sounds like verification if under 5/24. I received the same notice. Approval showed up a few hours later.

Re: Amazon Visa - unfortunately

@Jolo0801  let the process play itself would be the best thing.

Often CSR will give out wrong info, unecessarily complication the process.

Frequently, nothing is required from consumer. Sometimes they will either ask questions or ask for documents to prove identity. If something is required from you, it will be communicated to you in writing.

Also, 30 days could mean they will verify identity first, then move on to the actual approval process.

You can call automated line to check status of your application

If you're not the type who can wait, call them, let them know you applied, went to pending, so you're calling to inquire if anything is needed from you.

Be prepared for insane hold time.

Good luck and I hope to see an approval from you.

@Jolo0801,

You might be able to check the status via the robo lady?

Chase personal cards: 1-800-432-3117. Chase business cards: 1-888-269-8690. The menu sequence for the personal and business card numbers is 1, 3, 1, after which you’ll be asked to enter your Social Security number. Once authenticated, an automated message will tell you the status of your credit card application.

Also if you are declined, you get one possible shot a recon. (if you are over 5/24. probably a NO)

Good Luck!

Re: Amazon Visa - unfortunately

The 30 day notice just means that for whatever reason they haven't reached a decision point.  Don't interpret it as a pending decline.

Check robolady each weekday morning for an updated status, if it changes to 7-10 days call in as it can mean verification is needed. If a 14 day notice, sit tight as those usually transition to an approval.

So this is all on me....

I recently apped and was approved for the SW Chase card... It was last week.

I app'd for this amazon card through the my amazon app and I didnt' realize it to was a Chase card. If I had known, I would have never applied for it. I'll just wait it out, to see if they'll approve it.

@Anonymous

You can use this  <img height="45" width="65" src="direct link to pic here" border="0" title="name of card | credit limit here">

Use imgur to upload pics of each card. Then copy and paste the direct link.

The information can be found in the SmorgasBoard. Looks like you found it.
