Amazon recon

Hi I was denied an amazon store card. I applied based on information read around forums...Can I call them and ask for a recon if so any advice ?

With your scores, a recon won't work unfortunately.  Your BK is fresh and you need some time to be able to the cards you really want.  So give it sometime.

Thanks for replying ! I haven't updated my scores yet but when they pulled last week I was 610 Fico and 630 TU ?

You are welcome.  You can try to recon but your BK was discharged in October, 2015.   That may be too soon.  But it does not hurt to try.  The card is through Synchrony and you can try these numbers...

Synchrony: 866-519-6441 (Credit Analyst/Credit Solutions)
Credit Solutions 877-379-8173

Synchrony does not recon. You can try writing them a letter but idk. Synchrony typically likes to see 3 to 12 months of rebuilding post BK, at least that's what I've seen.

Thanks, that's good data.  As a fellow bk survivor of the OP, I have to ask if there is a master post/thread of bk wait times?  I saw one elsewhere, but it was very outdated and of little use.  I think it'd be a cool project that would come together relatively quickly, if there wasn't one.  Just throwing it out there, because this is one case where it clearly would have helped... and it certainly won't be the last.  I mean I could do it, but I'm sure other could format it much better than myself when it comes to updating the OP.

Amazon/Synchrony will recon if its within 7 days of the original application. I waited 10 days...At least thats what the rep told me !
