Hubby just applied on the Amazon site. We think it was for the Chase card. He got the 7-10 day message. I've been reading and it sounds like the store card (5% back) vs the Chase (3% back) would have been better. Obviously haven't gotten approved or denied for either yet. However when you apply do you have the choice of which card?

His FAKO TU is 631 and EQ is 625. His EX FICO is 657.

The cards are issued by two seperate companies.  The Amazon Store card with the 5% offer is issued by Synchrony and the one with the 3% cash back is with Chase.  So if the card you applied for is with Chase, you woun't have an option. You will get the 3% if approved.
