Hey, Guys, I was wondering, I applied for an American Express Everyday Card, Was Approved at a 2000$ Limit.
Read on here that you guys have success with applying for two cards at once, So I also applied for a Blue Cash, Approved 6,000$ Limit.
Now from Reading these Forums I understand American Express will do a 3X CLI, On Day 62 if you keep everything in Order.
Now Obviously I woukd 3X CLI The Blue Card first to get the largest limit.
However I am wondering, If I increase that Blue Card on Day 62, Do I have to wait 6 months to increase the limit on the Everyday card?
yes, it's 1 CLI accross all account within 181 days
Okay, So I should jack up the limit on the Blue card first right?
So That I have a higher credit limit.
Funny thing is I have 10,000$ in Available credit, with a utilization of 0%
I don't charge anything to my cards besides a few monthly bills, just have them to build credit.

And thats how i should remain. only charge if you need to . not for fun. but you can spend your monthly spend to earn bonuses. to help score. leave simply a couple dollars on there. then pay after statement. you will be good.
Don't pay your bill until the statement hits if your balances are under lets say 10-15%. You don't want to be at 0 every month.
YEs you will have to wait.

Well it all depends on your strategy, do you prefer to have 2 cards at 6k, or potentially get 1 card at 18k and the other at 2k. I think you can move credit between the cards but the 'donor' must be 12 months old.
I was able to get my ED from 2k to 6k before first statement. I'll ask for 3X in 180 days. Maybe I'll open a BCE after that and depending on the limit maybe transfer some to put it at 8k before asking 3X. I'm planning to have 2 Amex cards next year, one at 10k or more, and the other over 20k. I hope other cards grow too.
I built my score up to 739. With a Single Capital One Mastercard. Got it he day I turned 18 two years ago. 200$ Limit. Activated it, Never charged a single dime on it for over two years, Never reportied as Inactive, Just reported every month as paid in full.
