American Express: Please Help

Hey everyone,

I was recently instantly approved online for an Amex PRG and today called in to see if it had shipped. The representative in general customer service and new accounts said they could not see the application or anything about it because it was under review by the Global Customer Aquisition Program (Gcap) and to call back tomorrow (but I did get an instant approval online). Does anyone have any clue what this means??? Seems kind of strange. The representative said "select" clients are sent to Gcap.

What country are you in nd what website did you apply?

United States and the application was on the American Express website. Even recieved the email with approved after and offer to set up account number after being instantly approved.

Did you set up an online profile and if so, is it showing on your profile?  Another question for you. Tell us a bit more about your profile thus, do you have any other cards? How does your credit profile look like?  Do you have any negatives?
