So I applied for the Amex Delta card last Monday 3/27 and as of today 4/6 it's still in the further processing status. I have called Amex different times and they just tell me I have to wait 3-4 business days every single time. After those days pass I call again and same answer. Has anybody had this experience before? My scores are low 700s and I already have 2 other Amex cards. Blue cash preferred and Amex Everyday. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Just got the decision. Declined because a recent payment was returned as unpaid. This wasn't even my fault. It was BOA that didn't release the funds to them and it got squared away with both of them. My credit file si clean no lates. No collections. Funny because they approved me for the BCP after the returned payment. Well at least no hard pull was done since I'm a member.
