Thank you for everyone who responded but I do know where the FICO scar is.
What I'm talking about is I applied on July 2nd and it was declined.
Now normally you get a letter in the mail saying to wait 30 days before you reapply. And the same computer system is responsible for sending you the email that you can look up the reasons electronically.
The problem is the July 2nd application in their computer says still in progress.
So as far as their computer is concerned,
I am not out of that 30-day window.
Until they reconcile with the July 2nd application I can't apply for anything because I will only receive you're still within 30 days from the time we declined. I've already reached out to the corporate office and even they said to write into the chairman because there's clearly something wrong with the computer system.
And speaking with customer service new accounts get you nowhere.
Then just wait until the FICO8 score on AMEX matches with your score on Experian. A few days wait will be worth the wait though they may not do an HP even when you are denied.

I got you beat mine's from July 5th. The rep said they updated as soon as your statement.
Been there done that my statement cut I paid my bill. Still limbo.
So I just checked my Experian app and my score went down 11 points.
No changes on my credit report whatsoever I think it went down because it rained last night. Lol.
By the time they get around to updating the credit score my score will be in the toilet.
My Amex FICO score is almost 3 weeks old. Still watching.
Thank you for all the responses.
As of today my credit score with American Express still says July 5th.
One of amex's reps actually told me it was the credit bureau's fault.
And the promise of a call back within 3 to 5 days. Nada
Nada also to hearing back from the executive office.
I know this may sound Petty but I expect more from a company like American Express particularly with their computer software.
Everyone knows I wouldn't be able to use a computer glitch as an excuse for my payment being late.
But they are a private business and I don't have to do business with them so it's my prerogative whether this is agreeable or not.
Thank you again to everyone

AmEx must be doing "something" right as they passed Chase in 2022 to become the #1 largest credit card issuer in the US with $754.9 billion in outstanding CL's, passing Chase by $15 Billion and they have 2X the outstanding CL's of 3.Citi, 4. Cap1, 5. BOA have issued and 5X what 6. Discover and 7. US Bank have issued and 7X what Wells Fargo has issued. AmEx is also is the World's highest per card holder purchase volume card issuer, with an average of $14,480 in charges per cardholder annually and they have 114 Million cards issued in 160 Countries.
I am 35 days behind.
