Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I got Amex, Discover and Barclays back in October.
Waited to do the 3x on Amex due to lost card issue and new card re-issue that changed the member since date to November. Wasn't sure if that would have made a difference.
Asked for 3x CLI today and approved for new CL of $12,000.
I would like to get the Discover up (currently $2,500). I used it and pif quite heavily since opening.
After looking online at the request link....it appears to be a hard pull. I would enter amount requested, income, etc. and at bottom it says they may have to pull credit report.
Is the normal soft pull screen something different?
And...When does the new CL report....Would Discover see that right away?
Discover is NOT a hard pull at that screen. It's a soft pull.
After clicking request, if they need a hard pull they will let you know before doing so. You're safe. Go for it!

@LuvsRetro how do you ask for a 3x Cli? I have noticed that mentioned before and just assumed they were just given a random amount that happened to be 3x.
Im curious as well. Also, does that work with a USAA issued Amex card?

No, USAA doesn't work this way, it's only for American Express revolver cards issued by Amex.
