Amex 3x cli SP question

Tomorrow is my 61st day for hopefully an approved 3xcli on my ED card.  The last time that Amex soft pulled EX was January 27th, before some disputes updated.  They also soft pulled TU on February 10th, so things were showing updated there except for a major JCrew cli that didn't post until three days afterward.  Darn it!

**Is it safe to say that they will use the "TU softpull" or do they ONLY use "EX softpulls" for decisions regarding the cli?

Re: Amex 3x cli SP question

I've only had them do SP on my EX report, that's strange that they did a TU on you. Most likely they will use the EX they did on you though.

They softpulled TU on January 10th and February 10th.  They softpulled EX January 23rd and 27th.  That's all I've seen.

Now I don't know if I should just wait until they EVER sp EX again or try anyway tomorrow?  The dispute was about an AU account that shouldn't have been on my reports and had high utilization, which contributed to a credit score decrease.  I'm afraid with that on there at the time of the EX SP, they will deny my request.

to be on the safe side I would wait till that is off your EX and after they have done another SP, the last SP they did on me was on Jan 4, well over a month ago.

Re: Amex 3x cli SP question

All reports are updated, EX wasn't at the last SP. Just wish I knew if they use either/or as far as CRA's and their SP's. I read where some have been SP'd on EQ. I haven't.

Re: Amex 3x cli SP question

The SP is only part of the equation. If you ask for 3x and they deny you, then you have to wait 90 days to ask again.

After what you wrote, how you feel more comfortable? going for the 3x now or waiting a few weeks?

I'm aware of how it works, have read it over and over again and I'm very anal about my finances and keeping everything perfect.  My only question has been if they will use the Transunion SP since it was the latest one and since I don't know that answer, I'm not about to ask for an increase until see an EX SP.
