Hello new member here, joined the forums to start really monitoring my credit since I've racked up some good credit cards at a young age... Trying to be smart with it. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
Recently got approved for a AMEX BCE card with 5500... I was wondering if someone could walk me through the whole "3x cli" with amex? Do I literally just wait 61 days and click the CLI button on their site or do i call? Should I be using it often?
Also which would you prefer to use as a main card? : AMEX BCE, Freedom, Sapphire, Cap one quick silver? Currently using the Chase sapphire as my main one, however it has 16% APR so may switch to the freedom..
Any input it greatly appreciated!!

irish80 has answered the 3x cli question. As to "main" card: like many card questions it comes down to your goals and where you spend.
How are you planning to use the points you earn on Freedom/Sapphire? If the Sapphire is the Preferred version, you can transfer those points to partners to get he best value, otherwise it is just a 1% card, in which case the quicksilver is a better choice.
But generally, if it isn't too much work, or you are saving UR points for a particular travel redemption, it makes sense to use whichever card gives the best bonus on a particular transaction, so using the Freedom where it gets 5% etc. But again this comes back to how you plan to use the UR points. If you value them at 2c+ each, always use the Freedom or Sapphire except at grocery stores, where the BCE gets 3%
Definitely read the 3x CLI guide.

All depends on the category of the purchase and which card maximizes rewards. Though if you're worrying about APR I'm guessing you're carrying balances which will negate any rewards.
Are 2 new revolvers eligible for a 61 day CLI within days of each other or does one then have to wait 6 months?

If you have two new AMEX revolvers, you can only do the 61 day CLI request on one of them. If approved, you'd need to wait 181 days before making any CLI equests across your AMEX accounts.
SRE,
Thank you, I suspected as much from my research.
In view of this, it begs the question, if I intend to apply for an additional revolver and a Gold non-revolver and forego a CLI on the original two, assuming approval, when would the newest revolver be eligible for a CLI? Immediately or in 61 days from the date THAT one is issued? If the newest revolver doesn't have a greater initial CL, then answer becomes moot.
Of course, the ultimate goal is the highest overall CLs to keep utilization at a minimum!
