Amex 4506T form while asking CLI- Need inputs

Hello All, 

I have a Amex ED card lying @ 5k for more than a year. I also have AMEX BCE at 23k where i received the CLI 6 months before. 

so, i thought of asking CLI on Amex ED. i asked 3x limit.

While filling up the annual income, i added my household income(both mine and spouse) in that field and submitted. i got a 4506T digital docusign form. i haven't proceeded further, just logged off.

Need your inputs.

1. Is it ok to add my spouse income with mine as household in the form or just give my income alone?
2. what will happen after i fill that 4506T form online?
3. Now, then i didnt submitted the form 2 days before, how can i submit it now? will the 4506T form still be available online when i "request credit limit" on that card or it will be fresh new start?

The reason for the request may be if you did not include all household income on your original application the large jump in income may have raised a red flag in their system. You can either provide the information or try the cli with just your income, just do a cli as you have in the past if it requires the 4506T the form will show up again.

Your aggregate limit with AMEX has been reached.  It's a quick fill online form and takes about 3 days after you submit it for them to approve the CLI.  Just make sure you hit all of the check boxes to make sure it goes through.  4506 to some is too invasive but, since AMEX doesn't farm it out to a 3rd party it's relatively safe.  

Been there, Done that when I jumped from 30K to 50K with them.

Did you file together if so then yes you can include it otherwise lower your request amount and they might grant it.  Hope this helps.

ok, i just submitted my income and submitted the form. it said, they will send decision by 15 days.  quick question, will they do any credit check?

No CR check at all.  Just submit to IRS, IRS sends back, they review, and approve!  15 days is the standard disclosure but, chances are they'll send it over on Monday and get it back and reviewed by Wed / Thurs next week.  They won't contact you to say which way it went so you'll have to check online for the updated CL.
