Amex 4605

Prequalified for Amex Everyday but they asked for the 4605 form which was not sent to them so they cancelled the app. How long should one wait to reapply and will they continue to ask for the form? Thin file no derogs....

Don't think anyone can answer that other than to say that they probably will keep asking for it if your file appears the same the next time you apply. For me I would just say the hell with Amex and go to another lender then maybe check back in a year once you have a thicker credit file. Up to you though. I have plenty of cards so won't put up with that from a lender, but for somebody without much credit history they may feel differently.

OP, if the 4506-T isn't submitted then more than likely future AmEx apps will prompt with the same request for such information (internal coding). Your choice, of course, whether you want to comply with it or not.

If your stated income matches your 1040 form, then you have nothing to be afraid of.  If however your stated income or your tax forms are inaccurate  then you should ......................................
