Amex Application Site Issue

Having an issue applying for a new Amex product. Everything seems fine then I get this message:

We're sorry. The Card Apply Site is temporarily down.

Please feel free to use our site map.

Thank you for visiting American Express.

 

I have been trying since yesterday evening. Is anyone else having this issue?

I applied on the 6th and got that same message. I checked the app status page right after and my app was in progress and has been since. So the app did go through, I would check that page to see if they received your app.

So I just did that, and it doesn't show an application.

 

I guess I will need to call.
