Amex BCE App and Amex ED CLI

So..I am interested in applying for the BCE at some point and then requesting a CLI on the Amex ED I presently have. If I am approved for the BCE and immediately request a CLI on the ED would that be the same HP or is that a fresh set of HPs?? Anyone know?

A cli is not a hp. It's a sp.

With Amex? Don't mean to doubt but are you certain? I tried for a CLI on my current card about 4 weeks after getting the card and they did a HP on me.

Really? Its always been a sp when I did it through the site. That's weird. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

Perhaps they hit me with a HP because I was new with Amex and just starting with credit...who knows.

Maybe when you request it through cs it's a hp, try doing it online.

Dag...now I am really curious. My request was done online if I am not mistaken. It was so long ago I can't really remember.

I've never heard of a hp online. I've done it a few times never a hp. Maybe because it's been denied. Not long enough time with Amex is usually the response.

I've had my Amex for 7 months. Hell, I think im due for a CLI. I've waited long enough. I could go for the 3x but I'm not that greedy. I probably will just go for 2x.
