Hi everyone,
Been rebuilding my credit since 2013 and have been pretty well so here's my question-
Looking to apply for an AMEX BCP or EDP (not sure what i want more-cash back or MR pts) and wanted to gauge what my chances are in getting either-
Current Fico 8 Exp-769
Total credit lines over 3 credit cards is $12,500 and a AMEX PRG ($250 balance)
CC utilization:1-1.5% ($230 out of 12.5k CL)
AAoA- 1yr 6 months
The reason for an AMEX cc is the MSD backdating (MSD 2013) the potential for a 3 x cli, then either MR pts or cash back.
Any advice would be appreciated!
If you want to use MR points for travel than EDP , if you want cash back then BCP. Just know that there are probably better options for cash back for gas and groceries than BCP.

This is my dilemma about Amex. I'm only interested in cash back, but the only offering they've got for that is BCE/BCP, and I've already got a Sallie Mae which covers gas/groceries for me and I'm under the monthly caps. I wish they had another card for cash back but I understand their focus is with MR.
