Veture Rewards PreQualified

Hi so I checked on cap one for prequals and what came back was prequalfied offer for venture rewards card which was some surpise to me since a little over a month ago I was approved for qs visa with 3000 limit. I have a secured mc that I opened in March 2013 with 750 cl and I have a cap one QS mc about a year old. My income is only 18000 working part time with scores of tu 680, ex705, and ex695. I was approved last night for carecredit with 2000cl and amazon store card 1400 cl. Should I rely on the prequal offfer from CapOne? They have been good to me now that I think about it

Generally speaking, Cap One pre quals are good.

Yes from my experience Capital One pre-qualify site is accurate as long as you haven't just applied with them within the last week.  By the stats, if you have a Venture prequal you will at least get $5000 but most likely more. I got the Venture One early last month for $5000 and checked the prequal this week and the Venture showed up again so I applied and approved for $10,000 at 17.9%. Let us know if you decide to apply and good luck if you do.

Beginning credit score 3/13 TU 600, EX 601
Current scores 04/15 MYFICO TU 710, EX 699, EQ 663
NFCU Cash Rewards Signature Visa $12,500, Venture $10,000, Venture One $5000, BBVA NBA Amex $3,500, NFL Extra Points World Mastercard $2,500, Sallie Mae Rewards World Mastercard $2,500, Barclay's Reward Mastercard $5,300, Paypal Extras Platinum Mastercard $2,501, Capital One QSI $2,750, Merrick Visa $1100, Discover It $1000, Walmart $6,000, Kohl's $1000, VS $1450, Buckle $1250, Kingsized $1250, HSN $1150, Target $400, TJX Rewards $3500, Chevron $3500

Capital One's PreQuals are much on par with Chase from my recent experience. Maybe even more so. I wasn't prequalified for either of the 2 Capital One cards but was still Instantly Approved for BOTH the Venture and QS Visa. So there ya go.

They are preaty good. If you received a pre-qualify offer, you have a chance to be approved.

Totally agree! Solid prequal unless something jurastic has changed in your profile.

Re: Veture Rewards PreQualified

1. yes apply for the venture - it will be $5k+

2. call carecredit automated phone system and ask for a cli to $10k, the system will counter you... almost always carecredit will give more credit after getting approved - using same pull too!
