I plan to apply for a new card with a 150-200 SUB in the coming days. I have discussed a concern in previous posts about my income (~~6,000) because I'm a full time student, and the times we're in don't play in my favor either. Most people suggested that I give in a hit.
My Fico scores are above 750.
I'm now ready to apply, but I'm not sure which card has the best approval odds. I want something with a SUB. I was considering these cards:
Amex BCE or cash magnet.
Chase Freedome (either version).
BoA cash back card.
All cards have a 200 SUB. Which do you guys reccomend? Or does anyone suggest something else?

Which one do you have a bank account with already? That's the one I'd suggest.
Do you have any existing credit history? You may get some prequalifications showing up on Amex or Chase that could let you know if it's an outright deny or not. BoA's are just marketing for sure.
I don't have a bank account with neither of those.
I have a bit over 1 year of credit history, and as I mentioned, my FICO score is above 750 (from Experian app and discover app). All accounts on my report are my own and not AU.
Imho, Amex might be your best bet of the three. You may have a high score but thats a thin 750/760. Not the same as someone with a thick profile. The low income might mean more to Boa or Chase but if it were me, a hp being just a hp, id go for the card i most want first. Chase might double pull,so be mindful there. They like 1 year history but its not written in stone.

That was very helpful!
My credit history is a bit over a year by this point. My main concern is my income.
I am leaning more towards Amex because I was gold that they thin file friendly.
I'll try to post my decision and results.
The BCE is pretty good for groceries and gas stations. Depending on much you spend in those areas, It could be a good fit for you.
