Amex CLI 7 to 10 Day Message

I waited 93 days. 

Has anyone gotten a CLI with a 7 to 10 day message lately?

I've had my cards since April/May and never received a CLI.

I had heavy use on them when I first got them but haven't been using them a ton lately but keeping them active. I left 100 to 200 on them.

In July I got the 7-10 day message and got my full requested CL after 5 days.

I'm in the same boat with you. Got my AmEx in April and have yet to get a CLI. You've put more on it than I have though I'm sure. I have a few baddies still left and my FICO score isn't to their standards so I plan on holding off for awhile. Good luck on your CLI. Hope you get one!

It does happen from time to time but mostly they will also send you email saying they need to review some things and will get back with you. Other wise it is high probability of a denial. If you wanted that long and did not get instant approval on the Cli. im wondering what is your current limit? If it is 1k to 2k. it will be a long time coming. I don't know what it is with amex and those 1 and 2k limits but they are hell on consumers getting increases. My brother and my cousin both got Delta cards. we all got them in October 2014.

I got a $3500 starting limit. Currently 20k. My brother got a 1k starting limit. Still at 1k. My cousin got a 2k starting limit. Still at 2k. all our scores are similar. I guess it just depends on the way the dice roll with the computers. My ex is currently 710. Brothers is 708 and cousins is 711. it makes no sense.

Couldn't get anything out of them on chat. The lady said it can take 7 to 10 days.

I also inquired about if the rules have changed and she said its still 90 days between declines, 180 days between approves, and one card can only get a cli at a time.

It sucks to have to sock drawer a card or two because the CL's suck. Oh well maybe I can combine them in 5 or 6 months. I would just close them if they didn't didnt give me 15 months 0% and 12.99% apr after....
