Amex CLI Question ?

After reading about 40 pages of the Definitive Amex CLI topic I have not found an answer to question.

Got approved for an Amex Blue Cash Magnet for 1k Sl back in November

Waited till late Feb and did a 3X Cli and got 7 day letter saying  denied because of not having account long enough.

Was grooming card a for another request and Amex auto increased limit to $2,500.

Does the auto cli reset the clock to 180 days before I can request another cli.

I was not given the option to decline auto cli, (which i definetly would NOT have).

Any increase provided by AMEX does not reset the clock last I heard. Only a customer initiated request resets the clock whether it's waiting 91 days after a denial or 181 days after an approval. Requesting too early does not reset the clock either so if your last request was a denial back in February you are good to ask again whenever you're ready
