Amex CLI Question

Hey all, I'm trying to get clarification on Amex rules.  In June I was approved for BCP at the measly 1k starter, tried for a CLI at the 61 mark and was denied, called and they said to wait 91, cool.  Applied for the Gold yesterday and was approved for it.  Do I need to now wait 91 from this date to try for a CLI again since I got a new card with them?  Thanks.

Re: Amex CLI Question

The approval of the Gold card should not interfere with your upcoming CLI on BCP.  Since the BCP's CLI was denied, you'd need to wait the 91 days from that denial to re-request it again.

What did AmEx provide as the reason(s) for the CLI denial?

They stated length of time with them if I'm not mistaken.

Ok gotcha. So, just wait until Nov (depending on the date of the last request) and try again.
